Look Out World

Quite possibly the scariest thing EVER is going to happen around December 12, 2008. Brian and I are going to be responsible for another human life.

That's right, we're having a Little Frink. We've gotten pretty good at handling Gus and Zoe, the only problem is that when Little Frink gets difficult, I can't just send him/her to the kennel (...or can I...). Little Frink as in the baby, not Mike. :)

We finally had our first appointment today, so it's all confirmed. There is in fact ONE baby (I would like to re-emphasize that this only ONE baby). I thought I'd jump on that blogging bandwagon and create a little site to keep folks updated, especially since I have a couple friends and family member who live way too far away to see on a regular basis. There's his/her (I'll just refer to it as a her, cause we all know Brian won't have anything but girls) first picture below. The heartbeat was around 171 and her head was down. We're going to be surprised about the sex, unless everyone can help me guilt Brian into giving in and finding out this summer.

The head is at the bottom here and the feet are at the top. I'm 9 weeks, 3 days along.

In this one, the little square in the middle is the heartbeat and you can see the lines at the bottom (I don't know what they are called) that is the heartbeat pulsing. The heartbeat was 171 bpm strong. You can also see the cute little feet here.

So that's about it for now. I'll be heading back for another one of these at the beginning of June.
