Last night, Brian and I were grieving a loss. On occasion, we like to take the trip into quaint, downtown Tomball for a cup of Blizzard-y goodness. Upon arriving into Tomball last night, we were questioning whether or not we accidentally passed our stop. We kept driving, because I hadn't seen that German sounding street sign. Then we saw it...
THEY SHUT DOWN THE DAIRY QUEEN!!!!!
Our beloved DQ has been put up for rent. We had to settle for Sonic Blasts, but they just weren't the same. Not enough chunks of candy junk. Brian's Snicker's Blast tasted like maple syrup (::shudder::).
Now, the nearest DQ goodness is in Conroe. BOOOO.
Tomball Dairy Queen, may you rest in peace. You were a good Dairy Queen; a bit slow (ok a LOT slow), but still a good Dairy Queen. If you decide to awaken in Tomball, please, let us know!

Wow......I am sure this was the highlight of your evening. Or was it going three miles an hour over the speed limit to show JohnnyLaw who the boss really is!
Are we speaking of the street Buvinghausen?! If so, that is totally named after my great-grandmother's family! I am pretty much royalty there!
I am pretty bummed too... that was the only Dairy Queen within a 40 miles radius!
