Got a Little Story for Ya Ags!

I wish you could have been there. This child makes us laugh on a daily basis. It's sad that at this *lovely* age, we can go from laughing to frustrated to laughing in a matter of minutes. This was definitely a laughing moment.

So, during the service each week, they have a children's message. It begins with the congregation singing "Jesus Loves Me" and the kids go up to the front. Kaylynn perked up when she heard everyone singing this song, since she asks us to "Do Jesus" quite often. Keep in mind, she usually goes to the nursery during church because being quiet just isn't her thing. Then she saw all the other boys and girls going up to the front. Enter game: "Monkey-see, Monkey-Do." So Kaylynn wanted to go up. Except she didn't want to go all the way, and talked Grandma into going with her. See below.

I think she waved at each and every one of us sitting in the pews. And I'm pretty sure she waved at the ministers (who were sitting behind her). All-in-all, this girl put on a show. During Ben's actual baptism, Pastor Dan took Ben to the baptismal font (as they do) and Kaylynn, in her 2-year-old cuteness exlaims, "That's Ben!" Pretty sure the entire congregation heard her, because we had people come up to us at the end and say how adorable she was (and Ben, too, of course, but mostly referring to her antics).

Really, really love this girl.
