Pictureless Wednesday?

All these blogs I read have "Wordless Wednesday". Well, I'm not around my camera right now, so this will have to be a "Pictureless Wednesday". Kaylynn's been saying some cute things and I just want to document them before we forget about them!

Yesterday in the car she was singing Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star. Except it sounded like this: "Tinkle, tinkle, tinkle yittle sar. How I wonder what you are YAY!" (followed by hand clapping.)

She sang that song for about 10 minutes straight (not exaggerating here) and then she said, "Sirius XM The Pulse." We don't even listen to that station much (unless Brian's driving).

This morning when Brian went in to get her out of bed, she said (upon seeing him), "That's Binan." Yup, calling her daddy by his first name.

She's also started saying "actually" a lot. We'll be driving by a school and she'll see the playground and say, "That's a park, Mommy" to which I reply, "Actually, it's a playground." Then she says (imagine her holding her hands out in front of her, palms up) "Actually, it's a park." She bounces her hands when she says "actually." We passed a firestation one day and she said, "What's that?" I told her it was a firestation and she came back with "Actually, it's a gas station." ?? But, my all-time favorite one is when I was asking her if Ben was a baby, (yes) and if Kaylynn was a baby (no, big girl), and if Daddy was a baby. When I mentioned Daddy, I said, "Daddy's not a baby, but sometimes he acts like a big baby." She replied, "Actually, Daddy IS a baby!" LOL!! I was cracking up.

And speaking of cracks...those who know Brian well know about his buttcrack photography obsession. We have tons of pictures of random people's buttcracks because we just immaturely thought it was funny (admittedly, we can look at those photos and still giggle). Around the house, Brian is quick to point out if someone's (read: mine) pants are falling too low and he likes to do ridiculous things like put pencils/forks/anything he can find in it and say "Buttcrack!" Now, after watching her father, my adorable, precious, innocent 2-year-old does this. If I'm squatting down to put Ben in his carseat or something, she'll lift my shirt up and say "buttcrack"...even if there is no crack! GRRR!

Some things you just have to hear her say, because they are just cute. "No, sir" sounds like "No, sthir."

And on an ending note - the girl still loves The Office theme song. She was in the kitchen "helping" and heard the show come on. She ran into the living room screaming, "it's on, it's on!" She did her dance, then ran back to the kitchen once the song was over. She's so funny!

I agree Donna - especially regarding the buttcrack!
