Looking back at the blog post where we announced that we were having a girl, I realized that we never explained Kaylynn's name. I'm sure some (many? none?) of you are thinking "man, that's a long way to spell it" or something to that effect.
Well, Kaylynn is named after her grandmothers. Kay, is my mom's middle name and Lynn is Brian's mom's middle name. That's why her name is spelled with 2 y's and 2 n's and not one of the many other ways the name has been spelled (Kaylyn, Kaelyn, Cailin, Kaylin etc).
We picked Noelle for 2 reasons. 1. She was due around Christmas, but Noel didn't seem girly enough for spelling, plus, I'd never seen the name spelled that way. 2. I just liked the sound of the name and it's French.
So if you had any curiosity, then there you go. If you already knew that...well, sorry. :)
