Birthday Fun

Kaylynn's birthday was on a Thursday this year. I took the day off of school and we played at home for the morning. Her daddy had a final that night so we drove him downtown for his test. We had a fun time.

We began our evening doing a little Christmas shopping at Bebe Verde. Very fun store on Alabama! We had dinner at Ruggles Green (a place I had been wanting to try) and Kaylynn enjoyed some butternut squash!

With a full belly, we ventured out to the Children's Museum. They usually close at 6pm, but from 5-8 it's the Free Thursdays. Needless to say, Kaylynn had a great time! She crawled around for 1.5 hrs straight, was zonked out in the car ride home, and didn't even wake up when Daddy got her out of the car.

I'd say it was a successful birthday!
